The late fall of 1971 , at the age of 18 I found myself at U of M Hill Auditorium, Ann Arbor . The first act New Riders of the Purple Sage followed by the Dead . My first introduction to experiencing
splintered light , my mates who brought me to this life altering experience are still my dear mates in our mutual journeys !
Phil, Donna Jean & now Bobby, all within a little over a year……sad beyond words.
